Blizzard, the developer of game WoW (World of Warcraft) Warcraft III including the sequel to the original platform of DOTA (Defense of the Ancients) submit documents to obstruct Valve not to use the trademark "DOTA". This problem seems to be running quite complicated given the Blizzard itself is not the original developer of DotA, which needs to be underlined here is that DotA is a modification of WoW.
DOTA was first made by Guinsoo of RIOT, which is then forwarded by several people, including Ice Frog (touted as the best in the development of DOTA), Ice Frog is now working at Valve and seriously develop the sequel DOTA 2, before peluncuranya course Valve has make a claim for trademark DOTA. DotA community itself does not seem too concerned about trademark rights, because the first developer is not too complicate. Many are hoping this problem will not interfere with the launch of DOTA 2.
